FAUNA ON THE ISLAND
Between the dense forest which covers it, and the clear waters which border it, Nosy Komba shelters a multitude of tropical and endemic animal species.
The Macaco makis, emblems of the island, live in group in the forests or near the plantations of fruit trees. Among the wild mammals, we can also find small rodents, such as rats, shrews, mice, bats.
