"The island of Tanikely, very popular for scuba diving, is located in the middle of the bay of Nosy Be."

Nosy Tanikely or Antanihely, very popular with divers, is located in the middle of the bay of Nosy Be, 5 nautical miles from Nosy Komba, about 15 minutes by speed boat.

With its rich underwater biodiversity, Tanikely officially became the Nosy Be region’s marine nature park in 2010.
A 700m radius around the lighthouse marks the boundary of the nature reserve zone.

Tanikely is especially popular with scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts.
Dolphins, turtles, numerous fish, corals, sponges, shells and many other underwater species can be observed.

The visitors go there by the day from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The visitors go there from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The entrance tickets can be bought at the reception upon arrival or at the park office in Hell-Ville Nosy Be.

Tanikely will interest scuba diving lovers. You can see dolphins, turtles, lots of fish and a large number of corals, sponges, shells.Tanikely visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the island, and also to observe lemurs, bats and make a short walk to the lighthouse at the top of the island.

Prices for access to Tanikely Park in 2026 are :

– 40 000 Ariary for adults (foreigners).
– 4 000 Ariary for children (6 to 12 years old).
– Nationals: 5,000 ariary for adults and 1,000 ariary for children.
