One of the natural riches of Nosy Komba is its water, coming from natural springs.
It springs from the depths of the mountain, and benefits the inhabitants of the island.
Rivers from these natural springs meander down to the sea, cutting their way through the many rocks, forming small waterfalls.
Around these cascades, a few pools and natural pools of fresh water constantly renewed serve as baths for the inhabitants, but also as a laundry for the linen.
Some people fish for crayfish, and passing sailors come here to refill their water supplies.
